By 2007, Tongli's fleet comprised of nearly 20 vessels from self-ownership, time charter, and joint ventures, ranging from 5,000dwt general cargo ships to 30,000dwt handysizes, shipping steels, pig iron and various other commodities across the Asia Pacific. From agriproducts to coal, coke, fertilizers, iron ore, and project cargoes, Tongli's versatility in covering a wide range of dry bulk commodities was essential to carving its name in the minibulker and handysize markets.
From the end of 2007, the company gradually phased out older ships as part of a transition towards the larger sizes, resulting in its first 57,000 dwt supramax aquisition in 2010. In combination with long and short period contracts, Tongli has for the past 9 years additionally operated on dozens of Ultramaxes, LME-Kamsarmaxes and Post-panamaxes all around the world with esteemed and reputable counterparts.
Tongli deeply commit to continuously expand and modify fleet in various forms to better serve our clients. In the near future, we aspire to manage a respectable fleet of modern ships with a strong reputation among our clients and wide-ranging influences among our peers.
